Change of entry requirements to the USA (08/01/2009)

British travellers planning to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) must now provide details online 72 hours prior to travel on an Electronic Travel System known as ESTA.

Until now, registration has operated on a voluntary basis but it will become compulsory for all travellers from 12 January 2009.
To register to ESTA visit https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov.
