Educating the Young for Active Citizenship

Project Citizen Pakistan 2007-2009 was undoubtedly a resounding success. It touched the lives of 10,046 students.

 

The purpose of the project was to increase the capacity of Pakistani educational leaders in public, private and religious schools to create, implement, and sustain effective civic education programmes, thereby building a network of institutions committed to the implementation of civic education in Pakistan.

Project Citizen Pakistan 2007-2009 was undoubtedly a resounding success. It touched the lives of 10,046 students. It also helped the teachers and principals to develop some civil skills, disposition and knowledge through the project. The schools and students were exposed to useful methods of interactive teaching, learning and collaborative work that can be adopted for future generations of students who will study in these schools.
